I mean some are in a sense a series like yours since they are from the same place but I think the difference between a series and a ~collection is...the intention? I dunno how to say it but at least from presentation/arrangement a series should feel more like a story or a documentary, the author guiding you through whatever he wants to show in some kind of order, rather than "here's a bunch of stuff that has this in common"
which is mostly bullshit or at the very least subjective and dependant on the viewer
