>>3330426Aye, thanks for the tip. I took one immediately beforehand that had them looking in another direction, totally oblivious to me. Unfortunately, the focus was a hair off. They heard the shutter from ~100 yards away, and immediately froze. As for original color, like I said, it was 5:45AM, about 10 minutes after the sun broke the horizon. I dunno if you can envision that in your head, but that was my intent with the original. Everything had that hazy purple-red glow to it, it was gorgeous.
Unfortunately none of my other shots from today really turned out, though today was one of my first attempts at shooting bracketed exposures to composite into HDR images. The two deer were just fortunate enough to be there :D
I know the image is unrelated, but so far this is what I have. Having a hard time with the sky, and a ghosted image of the pine on the left from the second exposure.
