>>3318438I have a K1000, it was my mom's first SLR camera, and you nailed it, the one hipsters use for photography classes. She's an old hippie, with a Bio major kek. However, she gave it to me for my high school photography class, and I still use the thing. It's got a nice feel to it, though I've never used another film SLR, or rangefinder. It's a solid piece of hardware, with beginner limitations unfortunately. I like the clack of the shutter button press, though. It's a really nice physical feedback that you don't get on digital.
