Unless you were doing super short exposures, that's going to be over exposed to shit. And turn off that NR and just do it after the fact with software (assuming RAW).

Bad advice. You'd be better off with aperture closed down + bulb mode.

Put your camera in bulb mode then grab a black card and hold it over the camera lens between firework explosions, you'll get a clean exposure with as many fireworks in the sky as you want without the blurring or rogue trails. A tripod is necessary for this technique though.

you either shoot with a dinky card with no storage space or you're lazy enough to actually let it get completely full before you dump the pictures... either way is stupid. also

why? you're gonna have to use shutter speeds that are way too fast to show the trails of the fireworks. i shot f11 iso 100 when i went out for canada day

Last year I left my memory card at home. This year I got some decent shots imo. Wanted a really wide shot that captured the silhouette of the stadium nearby, but people driving around looking for parking during the show annoyed me. This one was cool though, the headlights casting long shadows from onlookers
