>>3320307Well think about it like this, the original 5d sold for around $3000 when it first came out. Was it expensive? Yeah, for it's time that was a good chunk of money, but it was the first major "affordable" full frame digital camera. It put a great camera out there, and other manufacturers had to compete with it. Now, over 10 years later, a new full frame camera is still $3000 (on average), same basic price, but now almost any semi serious photographer has or can afford a full frame camera. As much shit as sony gets on here, they took the next step and made mirrorless the next thing that other companies have to compete with, nikon and canon are following and will eventually make great mirrorless cameras. All it takes is for one company to commit to making an affordable camera system that a lot of people can actually purchase.
>>3320308Well no shit it's not doing well, most serious MFT digital cameras are 10-20 grand, and any affordable mft camera, like the fuji for example, have only a handful of lenses even available for it. Maybe Fuji and Pentax will be able to make something for a couple thousand cheaper with a wider selection of lenses too.
