I'm always kind of scared to go too dark or too contrasty with photos, probably comes from shooting a lot of chrome back in the day and then doing quite a bit of work for print publishing. It's hard to predict what kinds of monitors other people will have and how photos will look on those too, I often edit on a TN gaming monitor when processing for the internet because I figure it's kind of the lowest common denominator.
