>>3327569The whole point of a rangefinder is to have a smaller camera. They are inferior to SLRs in every other way almost, except maybe manual focus speed once you have practice.
I love rangefinders because I use small lenses with them. A Sonnar f/1.5 on M mount is fast enough for most situations, small as fuck (does not even come close to frame lines, in fact almost invisible in viewfinder completely) and is relatively sharp.
But then you can always jerk off to big lenses and slap them on your Leica anyways. It’s dumb and you won’t focus well on anything lower than .85x viewfinders, but you can do it. A 75mm f/1.25 is insanely thin Dof , less than a Noctilux.
