Also, MF has its own pitfalls when compared to 35mm. Different equipment for different uses. Was this really worth a thread? You know a thread died for this, right?

This too. Nikon also produces some fantastic optics for LF.

Nikkor optics far precedes the Nikon brand, but both them and Canon are more focused on 35mm photography. Not everyone wants or needs something larger.
