Approx $6,500 USD

I'm about 6/10 for what I like to shoot. A 4/10 overall because my portrait work is non-existent and I a clueless when it comes to using flash without butchering my shots.

Slowly got all the lenses I want now. Just need to work on lighting next.

I'm game. I already have this made up for my own quick reference. Not pictured are the D3400 and Vivitar 28mm f/2.5 I used for the photo; also all the miscellaneous DIY parts and WIPs. I think this is somewhere around $3,500 now. I still have a few specialty lenses to get.

Fairly good with the usual aberrations that vintage lenses have, but not as extreme as the nifty 50mm at f/1.4 is around the edges. I use it in place for of kit 18-55 lens. The Vivitar 28mm is a pretty solid lens. Here's a pic of the 28mm I use. I don't use the 35mm as much yet, but I just got these lenses recently. I normally use the 28mm and the 50mm.

Yeah, I have a lot of fun playing around with it. I'll probably get the Opteka 650mm-1300mm later. I'm sure it will be easier to use and of course sharper. I mostly use the mirror lens for art type stuff, because of the bokeh.

No I didn't inherit any money.
I just have some money saved up and this is how I felt like spending it.

My only guidelines were that I would try to keep my mileage under 300/day 5 days a week. And I wouldn't decide where to go next till the night before. And no backtracking.

This was based off an idea from the choose your own adventure books I used to read when I was a kid.

I was around $25k when I was shooting full-time. That number includes stuff like laptop, backup drives, printer, etc. though. (I only know the number offhand because I had everything insured.)

I'm down to around $5k now, and almost half of that is miscellaneous lighting gear, softboxes, stands, etc. that I didn't sell off since I can use them again once I get some new speedlites.
