>muh xtranny sensorsThe lenses are really nice, though. And don't give me that "but muh sharpness wide open" bullshit. Some (not all) are soft wide open. Most fast lenses made by other camera manufacturers are soft wide open too. There's nothing terrible about this. If you are shooting portraits, then your subject will be in the center, not the corners, of the photos, so you'll likely never notice it in real shooting. That's not what I'm talking about.
Fuji makes small cameras, and their fast primes are small, weather sealed, made of metal and have aperture rings. If you compare to other camera systems, Canon's 35mm f/1.4 lens is enormous. Fuji's is microscopic. Nikon doesn't have a single pancake lens. Fuji has a dozen lenses that are shorter than Nikon's smallest APS-C prime, and the Fuji lenses all have all metal construction, and the newer ones are weather sealed. Pentax has their Limited lenses, which are all small and have all metal construction. Those are not fast, none have aperture rings, all but one are driven by ancient screwdrive AF technology and only one is weather sealed. Fuji does what Pentax tries to do, better than Pentax does it.
