>>3335303Canon will introduce several more entry level DSLRs that have been hobbled in new/interesting ways and will each MSRP for well over $499 (insider information: one of them will have a vertical battery grip, although it will only be capable of 4 fps bursts and have a plastic lens mount). The 7D Mark III will be pretty much the same camera as what it's replacing, but will now feature a flippy touch screen like the 80D and "enhanced weather sealing," as if previous models were sieves.
Fujifilm will introduce their XT3, which will be an incremental upgrade with an "all new" X-trans 25.6 MP, unstabilized sensor that many die-hards will hate until they actually use one. One or two new XC plastic kit lenses, one of them a "nifty fifty" 35mm f/1.8 or a pancake in a focal length not yet covered by their other pancakes.
Sony will probably bring the A7IIIS, which will seem like a great camera capable of night vision in pitch black darkness until people get one into their hands and realize it's pretty much the same shit as the regular A7III and all the other A7's for that matter.
Nikon will proudly unveil a few all new AF-P kit lenses for DX right next to an informational booth with detailed photos of their coming soon mirrorless camera, which will not be featured at Photokina, since it doesn't actually exist yet and the camera shown in their Chinese photoshoot was just a 3D printed mockup. Their new lens factory will be opened up in a Chinese-owned (but locally operated) factory in Mozambique, since Chinese real estate taxes are getting too high and consumers kept complaining about sample variation of lenses. This way, every single lens will be a lemon.
Pentax will not have their own booth, but Ricoh will tell you about their plans for an eventual K-3 replacement and assure you up and down that they are not planning on shuttering the Pentax division if you go to their booth and ask.
Ricoh will NOT have the GR 3. They will have several new colors of the GR 2.
