holy shit i got one of these still in its box for free a few years ago. Are they really worth that much? The pictures ive taken seem to be typical polaroid fare

I have one and it's a great camera if you like shooting Polaroids. I got it for about 200 with some film included.

Found this guy at a goodwill for $30. They're worth more than that but not anywhere close to $600 imo.

the SLR 680/690 has the flash built in, sonar capabilities (some folding SX-70s do, but not all) , is able to use 600 speed film (unlike the folding SX-70 which needs a ND filter to shoot 600 speed), and are generally scarcer.
