>>3344028It's not so much that you would "grow" into the features it offers, more so, you'd need to learn weather those features even fit your shooting style or not.
Let's say you end up finding out that you really like shooting landscapes, but may want a wide 14-16mm focal length and prefer to shoot that way. Or, you shoot street but are uncomfortable with photographing people close-up (like me) and you find that it's easier to frame semi-portraits at a more comfortable distance which works with a 35mm.
Basically, the X100F is pretty purpose-built for a certain type of shooter, and that reason alone is a good reason for someone who's just starting to hold off on something like that.
