I keep hearing "Minolta colours" "Leica colours" etc
Isn't that something you could hypothetically make in colour profiles in post-processing?

Leica is the final literal redpill against planned obsolescence and gearfaggotry.

People buy a Leica and then use it for 10 or more years even in the digital age. M8 from 2006 is still valued by many, buying one is like putting money in bank and you have unique photos that can't be emulated.
But you know Fuji is the new Leica.

Only amateurs talk about camera colour

Everyone that takes photography half seriously will use an xrite passport or similar profiling aid to give true to life colour.

Even if it's going to be heavily edited with a preset, it gets corrected first, that way your presets come out the same regardless of what camera you shot with.
