How is this even a problem? you have to line up the image when putting them in the negative holder anyway. And who the fuck cuts their negs into strips of fours?

every single envelope of family negatives (over 150) has them cut into fours
if you try to ask a modern developer to cut into six they wont do it. they will either do four, or give you back an uncut roll which you have to flatten in a book for a week
