Any tips for shooting night on an a6000?
I just got one and I really want to shoot a ton at night because I'm an antisocial autistic shut-in and cant be seen by others. I messed around with it a little bit with I think an iso of 1600 and 1" exposure and it was basically night vision. Kinda cool but terrible quality.
My main issue was focus, as AF didn't work and I generally don't know what I'm doing with the camera yet. Do I basically have to just put in some settings, take a pic and then look at it? Or is there some way to make the view finder have the long shutter as well? Basically see nothing but black and noise.
I can't post my terrible night photos because I didn't bother pulling them, so have a bird I photographed earlier in the day
