Get a pixel or lg those things are cheap if bought used and invest the rest on a good lens.
Phone's camera will never be on the same tier as a real camera.

That spacing is what phone posters do because they have tiny screens and long lines of text trigger a "must make new paragraph" thing in their brain. It has nothing to do with any online website in particular.

OK but just like 95% of other chink phones, its garbage in low light. Fake bokeh that gets it right half the time isn't the same as having bigger pixels on a big sensor or decent ISO performance.
No idea why they don't just follow xiaomi and bring out an 8mp camera that crushes everything else (apart from the p20 Pro) in low light.

Yes. iPhone is basically doing what the Google Pixel does. Two lenses, two pictures, creating a depth map (via Parallax). That gets an idea of the foreground and background. Background gets a Gaussian blur. Slider is adjusting the radius of the blur.

Gaussian blurs still don't blur colors right. There's a youtube video on it, where it blends two colors in an unnatural way.

Can somebody explain to me how this new fancy chip is going to make the actual photos tangibly better? I was going to upgrade to an XS but it looks like the cameras are literally identical to the previous ones minus some faux-technological marketing buzzwords. My GF has a Huawei P20 which does all this ‘computational photography’ but all that means is detecting when the sky is blue and making it really really fucking blue.
