What? That Alex guy that makes an appearance on here every once in a while is doing far more for film photography than this guy. Alex at least uses it because he can make it look as good, if not better than digital. This guy king, uses it for the nostalgic quality crutch, not to advance photography

No one knowledgeable or serious about photography is going to pay attention to him.
Film photography isn't dead yet as there are still a number of actually talented people who work in the medium; what's dying is the industry behind it. But It's not worth keeping it alive by having more and more of these human billboards around, who are no better than the digital gearfags.
Many talented photographers have made the transition to digital without any loss in the quality of their work.

You realize that the "classic" colors are the ones that hold their own for decades, right? The trendy IG colors aka "film" color that everyone is chasing, will look like ass in 5 years. Trendy stuff ends up being just that, a trend. Your photos are going to end up being the equivalent of selective color (trendy in mid 00's), or vomit inducing HDR, and photos that follow the classic style, will always fit in and always be classics
