I'm facing a dilemma.
I'm a hobbyist looking to buy his first non-compact camera in a decade, because I'm tired of smartphones pictures being shit.
Need something decent in the 1000-1500eurobux range for body+lens combo, for everyday pics, also travelling on the rough. I'm hesitating between:
>Olympus E-M5 MkII
Affordable, stabilized sensor, weatherproof, quite shockproof based on returns, great lenses
>Fujifilm X-T2 or T20
Overall better than E-M5, but lens stabilized only, and most available lenses aren't, T20 cheap af but not weatherproof
>Sony A7 MkII
Full frame, stabilized sensor, weatherproof, priciest of the lot, and shittier lenses I've been told
Tried all four and can't decide.
I'm not sure what the future holds for FF. It'd seem logical that FF sensors would at some point prevail, but it doesn't seem like manufacturers are in any hurry, and tiny sensors are slowly becoming the new norm, I'm not sure which way progress goes. Which makes investing in a full frame hybrid and lenses a maybe not so good idea. Or maybe it is, and getting a tiny mirrorless is a mistake because no upgrade possible.
The T20 is also very tempting, it's a perfect budget camera, but it lacks weatherproofing and stabilization, and I'm wondering if it's not maybe a tad too cheap considering the T2 is better and only slightly more expensive.
Any opinion that could weigh on the balance would be appreciated.
