>>3379405I'm not sure what the focal point is supposed to be in all of the photos. If you're going for something minimal it would be nice if it was more obvious it's supposed to be abstract, like if the third photo was three bands of colors of the same size, and the ninth photo had the horizon level and the pier correctly centered, with lines coming out exactly from the corners.
>>3378408A bit the same problem. Symmetry makes everything feel tidy, which gets tiring after a while. Static. 4 and 5 at least have some diagonals.
>>3379004You like vanishing points. But vanishing points can be found every time you walk down a straight road, railroad, track, pier. What makes the particular road or track you're photographing stand out from the other?
>>3378912Lots of vignetting and other edits. It's almost difficult to see the actual photo. I like the one took at the Melbourne arts centre.
>>3378789I'm biased against flash. Many photos look quite busy, which might be a choice based on that same flash aesthetics, but eh, not a fan at all. After this bias disclaimer, good that you know what you want to record: nightly eastern european drunken rages. Focus on that and maybe you'll be on to something. Do some selection tho, there's two pics of the same guy dressed as indian and two pics of the same mannequin legs, one including a drunk. Just pick one.
>>3378110Your street is good. Lots of variety. Too many photos to give you more useful feedback tho, sorry.
>>3379466You surely have the technical part down, but eh. It feels like it's for the sake of itself. Do you have a favorite photographer? At least for me it helps to start thinking about what I like and don't like in photography, and what I'd like to achieve.
