>>3373998>conveniently ignores the fact that I also mentioned the custom balloons and also that many of these are high quality corflute signs that usually cost $5-10 each when you buy in bulkNow I understand that it's cheaper if you aren't trying to make a profit, but it's still some serious cash when you need to supply tens or maybe even hundreds of thousands of protesters with signs across the country, and I'd say it probably doesn't even come close to the cost of logistics involved. People who have that kind of cash didn't get there by throwing their money away for free and donating left and right out of the goodness of their hearts. They do it because it's an investment, because at a certain point you are better off investing in societal change than stocks and bonds and shit.
This isn't necessarily a critique of the democratic party but their propositions are definitely better aligned with the interests of big business in america than the opposition. Pretty much nothing is organic these days, to bring a /p/ related example you can't even make it on IG without using bots at this point. Or (this is a bit different but the point is competition) if you're into sports, the insane stress boxers put themselves through to lose 10+ kgs of waterweight overnight right before the weigh in because everyone else is doing it so they fall behind if they don't.
Everything is so competitive now that you'll just get completely btfo if you don't commercialize your efforts and hire a group of professionals whose job is to prop you up and convince the masses that you are something you're not.
