So I'm an avid outdoorsman, and I like to take high quality photos on my escapades, but due to the nature of what I do I have neither the space nor protection to take a quality mirrorless or dslr and a passle of lenses with me. While I have managed some few print quality photos with my cell camera it has proven entirely lackluster in low light and digital zoom is horrid (pic related). Most of what I wish to photograph requires some magnification.
Would I be happy with one of the superzoom pocket cameras or are there any good alternatives that would fit comfortably in a big pocket/blind bag/small daypack? Would need to be good in wet and cold environments.
Again, pic is to demonstrate just how garbage digital zoom is. This was a Galaxy S9 on 8x zoom.
