>lights less glaring in most of the shotshmm, i thought that might be an issue, this set i really went out of my way to do different things and making sure lights, like neon signs, headlights, lams, were really soft and "glowy" for some forced atmosphere, its sort of like how jj abrams tried to use lens flare i guess? ill work on that for sure
>What do these pictures mean to you? What are you communicating?honestly, im just trying to capture the "feeling" of a setting, is my main goal for all of these. I struggle with subjects because i tend to not want them in my photos, maybe it doesnt work but i like to put myself in these photos and remember how it felt and smelled, so i assume the viewer and superimpose themselves the same way i can. I like to use very sterile, precise, but dramatic and overblown editing for a otherworldy look, and i think that lands like 30% of the time.
Id LOVE to start doing portraiture in settings like these, i think it could be really cool but i am still learning to take peoples portraits
>let me guess, you’re a flyover state steampunk who wishes “roasties” were “trad” againflyover state, yes in Wyoming. Steampunk? jesus i hope not lol, im just a hipster phuck that doesnt think touch screens really serve any purpose for what i do, especially if my hands are constantly wet and numb from snow/exposure
