Most super8 cams go for a pittance at charity shops and the like, the worst part is that usually the optics are married to a split prism TTL type viewfinder and difficult to remove from the camera. Unless theu use interchangeable lenses. You want some nice 9-36mm type zoom lens. Or consider old CCTV lenses, essentially, a way shorter/wider focal and a smaller form factor/flange distance. The SLR looks cool ut is janky/super tele with virtually all available primes.
