>>3383770>It's not even usable wide open in the centre of the frameIf you think that's "not usable", I suspect you don't ever actually take pictures.
The fact that you don't realize that most lenses--even high-end ones--tend to fall down in the extreme corners backs up that hypothesis.
And, of course, the fact that you think it's common for a photo shot at f/1.2 to have compositional elements in the extreme corners that need to be tack sharp.
> Something tells me the world is not short of images taken at f1. 8 that have a filled frame. Most of them are taken on things like the EF 50/1.8 or Nikon 50/1.8, both of which are a *lot* worse than the Fuji all across the frame (and *especially* in the corners). At f/1.8 (or f/1.2), something right in the corner is almost certainly going to be out of focus anyway.
E.g, pic related, which I shot with a Canon 50/1.8. The main action is Jefferson getting staple-gunned to her tit. There's basically nothing in the extreme corners, where you're claiming this lens' performance makes it unusable.
>Even in the centre it's shit thoughFor f/1.2 at 100% crop, that center performance is amazing.
