There is a limiting gear ceiling even if people don't want to admit, phones and even compacts just don't cut it.

True but the better the camera the better the photo will look when reproduced in a wider variety of mediums, not just instacrap

I've seen images taken with disposables that look better than 80% of the shit posted here. One day cameras will have deep learning AI implemented but until then there's no camera that can offer reasonable assistance with composure.
