Gear, sure, some stuff that comes handy and Other things would be camping and hiking equip, food and stuff to drink. I'd get a bunch of photo interested people and me photographing around the world and bring the best shots into documentary..

That was my wishlist post you referenced.

So I go to the tamron event this past week end in my city with the intentions to buy the 15-30 based on the reviews I had watched on youtube. I admit that I watched mostly reviews by canon shooters because I thought it didn't matter much. None of them mention that this filter thing is only on the canon version.

I have the older version for this lens, in Nikon mount. It is absolutely fantastic, very sharp. Minimal distortion considering how wide it is. If any of you are considering this lens you will not be disappointed and the VC is nice in low light situations. The older versions are on sale now to make room for the new one I bought mine retail and got 100 bucks off

I'd probably get a digital fullframe to help me learn quicker and better, doesn't really matter which one, but then I'd go straight into film photography and I'd buy all the equipment needed to quickly develop, print, and scan film on my own. Probably I would need less than 100k, everything considered. Film and paper costs would add up quickly, but even then I doubt it would go into the millions range.

A 4x5 and an 8x10, but I'm no expert. Probably a Linhof or Chamonix.
Hasselblad X-Pan II with dat 30mm plus the rest.
Flextight scanner. I wouldn't bother owning a drum scanner, I'd just send my photos off to someone while I fuck hookers.

Who said I'd buy a machine? I'd get an enlarger and a fully accessorized Jobo, plus some professional grade scanner. If I had money I'd have time, if I had time I'd use it to play with my hobbies: no need for automation there.
