I still have the bridge camera on which I started and it's still my best camera. It is relatively small, very limited in terms of the conditions in which you can take a good photo, it can take pictures and videos and it goes from wide angle to telephoto. I have cameras that have far superior lenses, sensors and IQ but they are limited unless I take a backpack filled with lenses with me. Or I can take my Fuji X100, which is smaller with better IQ but I lose the telephoto and videos. For capturing the moment a bridge camera is the best camera to have.
