Oh, what a surprise, sony still does the best skintones.

Why does every other make seem to paint skin one colour, canons all tannish red, fuji is all flat and brown, nikon is nikon.

Skin is supposed to have reds, yellows, blues, oranges, purples, etc and it should vary from person to person.

Once you hit 6400, Sony keeps cleanest image, but BM has best colors. This will probably change once a7siii happens, but we could still end up with magenta fest.

Honestly this is a pretty bad comparison - he didn't use the same quality lenses, not all of them were in focus and the guy who made this didn't know about the Fuji iso stop cheat (6400 iso is actually 3200).

TL;DW - if you want something for serious moviemaking pick up a BMPCC (downside is its noisier at higher isos, but it keeps so much detail its unreal, and the noise looks organic/filmic if you want), for hybrid shooting/travel pick up either a Sony A7iii or X-T3 - personally I'd go for a X-T3, since it has more details, nicer skintones and the sensor size is almost as big as Super 35 but again there's a downsite to it (no IBIS, shitty battery life).

The Fujifilm was significantly softer than A7iii and MBPCC.

It was softer because it wasnt properly focused (too front focused), the a7iii seemed too over sharpened, the bmpcc was good but trust me xt3 wins in details

I don't see how that's at all in defense of Canon. A 45 MP camera (Z7) is not going to do as well in low light with raised ISO compared to a contemporary device with a lower pixel count, period. I'd say compare the Z6 but that may not even be out yet.
