let's take laowa/venus as an example, as they actually make lenses worth buying and they don't use af so there's zero reason not to offer x mount. They currently sell 10 lenses, 9 are available in FE mount (the 10th is mft), and of those 9 only one is available in x mount. Now, what does this tell us? Laowa have the mounts for fuji and they haven't come across licensing issues from fuji, yet still they offer more lenses in sony A and pentax K mounts, than x mount. That's how little hope the industry has for x mount, they're willing to put on a dumb sony a mount over a dumb x mount. Ouch.
