I'm going on a 5 day bicycle trip with a friend through the western australian wheatbelt to visit an abandoned town, fuck around then go back to the shore while taking pictures.
Can any WA anons give advice on what to look out for, essential gear to bring and what areas are worth visiting? We picked Kununoppin as our destination but I'm unsure if there's anything else on the way leading up to it. I'm open to suggestions and the destination isn't set in stone, just something I picked off of a "WA ghost towns" list on google. I've only been in aus for about a year so I don't really know anything about the region.

Gear we have:
>d800 with a single 64gb sd card
>nikkormat ft with no meter
>50/1.8d lens
>28-105/3.5-4.5 micro lens
>one tripod

Gear I want to pick up
>200/4 lens
>circular polariser
>solar charger
>dust blower
>portra 160, portra 400, C200, ultramax 400, superia 400, pro 400H
>small tent

Anything else I should bring? Any dangers besides dehydration I should look out for? Any tips for destinations or other nearby ghost towns? Thanks /pee/
