The main light is illuminating her face in a way that most of her head is in shadow. So they call it "short" lighting, as opposed to "broad" lighting.
So this is short, open loop lighting. You can do this with 1-2 lights.

There is also a hair light coming from high up, making her hair glow. They're also using either a reflector from below the face, or another light at very low power.
