https://www.amazon.com/Viltrox-Adapter-Compatible-Panasonic-Interface/dp/B07C7S59DFAdapting a lens from another mount needs an adapter, and has various drawbacks, and some benefits as well, but it's more complicated topics.
I was talking only about native lenses. Panasonic uses m43 mount, so any lens made for it will work with it. Panasonic and Olympus are main body manufacturers for it, but you have plenty of lens manufacturers for it besides these two. Sigma, Vogltander, Keike, Kowa, Samyang, Rokinon...
The longer the lens, more you'll have trouble stabilizing it, here stabilization helps. You've ether in body stabilization or lens stabilization. Panasonic used only lens stabilization at first, and Olympus had body stabilization on all bodies and has only few stabilized lenses on the market. If you mounted Panasonics lens with stabilization on Oly body you could choose which one to use, and if you mounted Panasonic lens to Oly body you were left with nothing. For Olympus cams, you don't need to check, they all have ibis, so you can buy any native lens that you want, for Panasonic bodies you need to be aware whether it has ibis before buying.
gx85 has ibis, and it has something else as well, it has dual IS. When you fix certain panasonic lenses with stabilization to it, cam will combine both stabilization methods and use them at once. Again it's often more important on longer lenses. Many lenses on various systems are without any kind of stabilization, and it's not hurting them at all.
