I also have a hobby that relaxes me, gives me satisfaction, gives me a creative outlet, and is supposed to FUN - a relief from work.
If i'm an amateur, it doesn't matter if i go out and shoot tonight or not. If I do, it doesn't matter if i shoot anything worthwhile or get any keepers. If i do, it doesn't matter if i process them tonight, tomorrow, or ever. It's supposed to be fun.
If you're a pro, you need to shoot tonight. You need to get five or ten or fifty keepers tonight. You need to bring extra gear to make sure you can handle the light and environment. You need to process them quickly and make sure they are delivered quickly for client use.
