Good value all-round camera.
You're in for everyone on /p/ acting like a fag cause you shoot Sony
I shot the a6 for a while and while I haven't used it once since upgrading, it's incredible for a number of reasons, not least that it fits in any pocket and is pretty much as portable as a phone
Limitations include low light performance, only one card slot and an all-round frustrating set of "nearly professional" level settings and abilities. Sony menu systems are also fucking mental.
The battery life sucks balls so buy a few and take 2-3 with you for a long days shooting or if you're doing movie/long exposure
>>3409465This. Buy a 35 for day-to-day, an 80 for portraits and eventually whatever else you need for whatever you do
Sony lenses are expensive but fantastic for professional work. Ignore them til you reach that level
I'd also strongly recommend buying FE Mount lenses if you ever think you'll upgrade to another Sony, or other FF lenses if you're likely to use another body. You don't lose much on the APS-C and you save a heap when you finally upgrade
>>3409489Also true but with the caveat that learning on a good lens makes things easier, quicker and good primes for the e-mount are ridiculously cheap so there's not much reason not to
