Greetings, /p/
I'm getting into medium format (6x6) for the first time and I'm trying to figure out what color film to use for a specific project. I'm going to be doing landscapes along the shoreline where I live. I want some good contrast and sharpness, so my instinct is to use slide film, but Velvia seems pretty over-saturated in a lot of the work I've seen. Also I'm planning to mostly shoot exposures in the 1-10sec range, and I've read that recprocity failure is a problem for Velvia 50, while I've heard that Velvia 100 tends to get a magenta cast. I'd use a negative film like Extar, but the results I've seen look inconsistent across different lighting conditions, especially in bright sunlight. What should I do? I don't like the color of Provia. Pic related, similar look and feel to what I'm going for.
