Real talk. Are the special sensor swabs needed/worth it? I’m fortunate to only ever had abit of dust that was easily blown by my trusty little air pump. I kinda just figured I could clean it with a q-tip and alcohol.

I would risk it, I bought some special liquid (mostly methanol) and a couple of swabs some years ago and clean my sensors about once a year. It only costs a couple of dollars and it makes the job easier.

They work to less than a dollar per clean, so I think they're worth it.

Not much to see, official leica asian uses that lame lolipop stick to clean sensor for twenty minutes, and results are getting worse and worse. He also uses his breath on the lens, but I don't see much wrong with that.
