I get the whole topo and the 'aesthetic of the banal' thing that's made a resurgence with the kids to day, but let me let you in on a secret. You're actually supposed to make the banal look interesting and evoke some sort of feeling. You actually need to have strong feelings/thoughts towards what might be considered mundane and find a way to communicate it. You're supposed to chase the substance, not the style. The style will come along with it. Fucking kids mayne. Stop parroting styles. Whether it's lifestyle orange-teal bangers, or topo hipster shit, find your vision, make sure you've articulated it to yourself and find a way to communicate it to the rest of the world. But then again, maybe I'm just being a cunt and you're just practising and 4chan isn't exactly the place that requires heavy self-curating so you're dumping everything.
