K-70 is good value new, but I would agree with anon above a K-3(ii) or K-5(ii) used is a much better option. KP is a great camera, I own one, but they are pricey when you consider what you get. The KP is more for style than substance.

Is a K-3 still a good camera? I found one for €550 with two lenses, kit lens plus one.
What are the numbers represent on the lenses? I assume two numbers means zoom lens like with the kit lens 16-85 and the 35 means it is not zoomable. I really have no idea what the image would look, like how much can be seen at what zoom position.

The K-3 is a solid camera. It’s made of magnesium and has good image quality. If you are interested in how images look from different lenses have a look at flickr for examples

A Nikon, because there is a much wider choice of older prime and zoom lenses you can stick on it, than with Pentax. Much nicer build quality. Ebay does make it far easier to track down old Pentax lenses though. You don't really need meter functionality, as you can use the histogram and the sunny f16 rule to get an exposure value.

fuck you pentax has the best feeling bodies, if you're rich you can pick either and get the expensive pentax lenses, IBIS as well which allows you to use older lenses without problems.

only K-3 II and K-1 (II) have built-in GPS. You can add gps functionality to other pentax cameras with a gps attachment, but I personally don't want that.

Thanks for the help everyone, I am now a happy new member of the Pentax club.
I like the kit lens, but I read that using a single focal length or prime lens is better for learning, so I am going out for a walk with the 35mm lens.
Big thanks to the seller who gave me an introductory lesson on exposure, aperture and shutter time, and to try to keep lower iso.
Again, thanks for the help, even got a GPS addon and a wifi card on ebay, should arrive next week.

Update: got back from my walk, got a lot of experience. Usable images not so much. The images turned out sharp and all, just not much on them. Turns out taking pretty pictures is harder then just pointing and pushing a button.
Looks like I need interesting scenery as well beside having a camera.
At least I have a good reason to go out regularly.

It's not Canon, it's Fujifilm that stole the lower end MF market which Pentax used to own.

The K-3 has onboard flash, the K-3II doesn't.
I use my onboard flash to trigger an off hand flash which is more useful than not having one.
Also it is good to give a bit of fill light in some situations where I don't have the flashgun or don't want to mess with setting it up.
I'd rather have onboard flash than not.
