Hand and correct, this lens. I believe I focused somewhere near the hand lanterns on the left, but can't quite remember. Was quite a busy area and was shooting between people passing.

It would be nice to have, and maybe would help with the low light. It's on the wants list :). But I think I would shoot about the same amount. Other user mentioned my nikkor 35mm DX, if you don't have one yet I would for sure get this lens. Cheap and very enjoyable. This is what really motivated me to shoot more

I was asking because I am thinking about upgrading yo d7200 while there is good discount... But I am unsurebif it is worth it. 200euro camera with 200 euro lens (d3300 and nikkor 35mm) yah I can bring that anywhere. But 750euro camera... I might leave it at home

I know what you mean. Still haven't upgraded myself. But I just mean that it's a shame to let it go to waste. If you worry about it getting stolen or something, I think most thugs don't know the difference between a 200 and 750 camera, so better to keep the d3300 as a spare and enjoy.

Well if it gets stolen then better to have d3300 stolen. I am more worried about carrying it around in general. I drop my camera is simple backpack and not protective photograpgy one. Needing to get good bad and carry it around (they are bigger) would mean I would carty camera around even less.

I prefer this one to the post processed one.

The varying light colors and detail is lost in the post processed one imo.

Perhaps you could increase contrast and darken it a bit without washing it in the blue hue?

I dunno anything about photo editing just a passing lurker.

I like the subject matter and composition though.

Hmm I could see that. For these I was trying to keep them to a set theme for the 4 blue ones. I felt a bit like this pic didn't have much of a subject though, so might try to reshoot it one day and get a human in there. Thanks for the actual comments. Always good to see on /p/
