Hey mexicofag, in general these have a snapshot quality. I understand it’s the feeling you’re going for and that you prefer not cropping, but a little changes might go a long way. You mostly shoot under crappy indoor lighting which is a pity and flattens most of these.
>>3433306 >>3433307Both suffer of a problem, there is gesture both in the man and woman but they’re looking in different directions, feels like two images in one, too much weight on the left as well
>>3433310Funnily enough it being crooked makes the kid look like he won’t fall over
>>3433311Already commented the color version in the monthly thread
>>3433312 >>3433313First is better, not so centered and a real close up
>>3433316Good dramatic shadows which is where trix really shines imo but there’s too much clutter. 35mm? Maybe 50mm and closer would have made the image more readable
>>3433317Eh. I don’t get it
>>3433319I also don’t get it but if it had an image showing the context/what those balls are it could work
>>3433320Wrong moment, taking a second would have helped
>>3433321Right moment but the setting isn’t that nice/compelling
>>3433324Not sure if you work there or you’re just taking pictures of your store every time you make a run for groceries. Could be a fun project but there needs to be more pictures and harsher selection
>>3433325Leading lines drag me right, guys’ gaze keep me left, crop it or leave it
>>3433326 >>3433329First one alone is meh, make a series
>>3433330It’s ok
>>3433332Too much black, cannot decipher more than half the image
>>3433335 >>3433338The hulking menacing black figure in foreground and tiny girl in back tell a story and I’m sure it’s not the story you wanted to tell
>>3433340Much better. Again, gazes drag in two directions but it feels less an annoyance than other images, I guess because of straight on perspective
>>3433342This nice but gazes all take you left out of the frame. It does show setting and has vertical rhythm
