You need tireless dedication and to get out and shoot and shoot ad infinitum. You can't buy experience in Walmart or download it from the internet you have to get out of your comfort zone and start doing it.
Obviously you are not going to wing off to Antarctica at the drop of a hat, you have to start locally. That means you'll have to learn about what wildlife you have locally, learn about it's nature, its habits,where it hangs out etc. After you have researched it to exhaustion you will need a plan. That will probably reveal itself when you know more about whatever critter it is you are stalking.
