If you don't want to have this effect all the time (nobody would, honestly) you want a camera with a higher focal length, or even better, just get any old SLR so you can pick lenses how you want (for landscapes, the distortion effect is barely/not noticable).
Just make sure it has that panorama mask feature

Alternatively just crop your pictures/prints. But framing wont be so easy.
