Composition is alright too, it's just the balance of the greys is somewhat off to me. The highlight in the white decorations in the background coupled with the sky take my eye hostage when all I want is to be directed towards the crowd. Not sure if that arch at paddington is dark enough, but if it is, including the top of the arch might have acted as a barrier there and redirected the eye towards the crowd. Also, there's no shame in a subtle, two/three exposure HDR either. Don't know, just a pity that my gaze drifts towards the top half.
On another note, you shot this at 2.8, but can't tell if the focus is in the background, or the middle of the crowd (maybe you sharpened the background in post?). If you're gonna shoot at 2.8, probably best to focus on the front row. Also, slightly more contrast wouldn't hurt, but that's up to you. Good effort, overall.
