>>3442925>You can compare the XT3 and 6D2The other anon suggested I do the same thing, but as I said it's not quite the same sensor. Don't know why most of the press ran with that. They've corrected the record since.
Bottom line, you're saying you can't really go wrong with Fuji, especially if you're interested in video. Which I'm not really, apart from horsing around. If size weren't an issue, would you recommend going with a 5D II, or an XT30?
>>3442926So would you say that the availability of EF/S lenses makes the M5 a worthy competitor for an XT30? Are the Fuji X to EF/s adaptors really that bad?
>>3442929I've been using a t3i/600d for a while now. Not a gearfaggot and I like making whatever I've got work, but better ISO performance and more highlight detail without much sweat would be nice - and I'm sure you can imagine it's not that hard to top the t3i at DR. So would you say that the XT3/30 wouldn't make much sense for stills when compared to a used 5dII, or a used RP?
I'm probably going to stop asking for advice for now, since I'm run the risk of getting even more uncertain. Also, don't want to spark any gearfaggotry. I'll read up more on RP/M5/5DII/XT3/XT30/ sensor performance as features don't do much for me since I don't shoot sports and rarely video and I'll run a lens availability-cost analysis and make my decision. Thanks for your help guys.
