I mostly agree. And I wish that the canon lenses worked like native lenses on sony bodies. I have a canon 24-70Lii that I want to get rid of and just buy the sony version, it's better. Anyone want to buy a used canon 24-70 for like $1300?

Ergonomics are the MOST important thing about a camera. I have owned every single sony camera, and I could never get a good enough grip to take a photo. It was always slipping and sliding through my hands, and I kept getting hand cramps due to the hand strength it took to keep a hold of one due to the bad ergos. I sold ALL of them and bought the canon m50. Canon is known for it's ergos, so I knew right away I was in for a treat. It was like a dream to hold. Nice girthy black grip, that felt so good to hold. The shutter release was much more soothing too, sending a throbbing pulse through the thicc black grip into my tiny weak hands, finally some good ergos that I can hold on to. Anyone that owns a sony is a fag.

Nikon for ergonomic controls, hard bodies and good glass.

Canon for bolder colours.

Sony for crisp images and dust.

I prefer an optical viewfinder over a neutered electronic display any day, so I go Nikon. If its good enough for NASA, its good enough for me.

The reason nasa stuck to nikon was because they offered the absolute best professional grade body and have been working with nikon since forever without any compelling reason to switch.

I should add to your argument that the d5 unlike the 1dx2 is heavily specialized for professional use thanks to the sensor. It just rapes the DR in favor of general iso performance which is perfect.
it's pretty good but I wouldn't trade in my current camera for it because of that exact reason whereas I would do it with the 1dx2.
