>>3446210Very nice to see pics of a fellow 3rd world photographer, it's somewhat refreshing
Processing in general is way over the top; actually, straight jpegs you posted from raw files look much better. Such as:
>>3446352 . I'd recommend re processing it from the start. This time, mix colors first (on saturation and lightness), then get to exposure, levels and contrast if you need fine tweaking. It looks like you went the other way first: mixing contrast and structure etc in order to achieve strong colors but that leads to messing picture quality hard.
Composition wise, it isn't bad but it doesn't seems like you have put much thought into it. They're a notch above plain rookie but there are some rookie mistakes like cropping out diagonals while leaving blank uninteresting space in a large portion, leading to unbalanced view
>>3446220, which could be solved by moving a few steps to the right. Or
>>3446258 branches getting into the way when it would be fairly easy to make them reinforce the main subject otherwise, like crown arrangement. The yellow cast on this one is particularly weird btw.
If anything 1) mix up saturation and lightness only before getting into temperature, tint, curves etc 2) stop cutting your diagonals and archers short, they're the ones that make a strong composition strong
