That photography is essentially me, except I'm not trying to jump into the girl's pants, only there is a slight anxiety to "getting the first girl" in one's portfolio officially.

Make sire you have the kind of contract that allows you to make use of the photos as you wish (sell/copy/modify/distribute), short of defamation. He should have the same kind of contract with regards to having you as a subject.

we didn't sign any paperwork or anything, but we agreed that he'll post the photos onto his profile and credit me and I can have all of the copies (with watermark) and do whatever I want with them. I plan on uploading them and crediting him as the photographer. We also plan to do more shoots in the future

The number of "photographers" who are just dudes trying to fuck models is ridiculous. It seems like once or twice a week we get a thread here of some dude asking how to get super hot women to model for him. Every time I mention that I've done shoots with women, someone asks if I've banged them. Every model I've worked with has a horror story of some other photographer who tried to get too handsy with her.

So, the reason dudes are suspect is because of the mountains and mountains of available evidence. If you don't understand that, you're part of the problem.

well, I won't receive the edited photos until probably tomorrow, but I take a photography class and his composition was correct. his lighting was a bit off, but he usually takes shoots of landscapes, not people very often
