The only reason Canon made the RF mount is to stop their lenses from being used on sony cameras. Prove me wrong.
Canon became sick of being the worlds largest third party lens manufacturer, and losing their customers to sony because they could use their canon lenses on another platform. They made new RF mount so it's now basically impossible to swap an rf lens onto an emount.
Why else would canon make a new mount for mirrorless? They have the largest selection of lenses for the ef mount, they could've kept all of their old lenses to work 100% natively.
