Can someone 1. Tell me how the fuck the photographer inserts their name into EXIF, is that done in post or on a special camera itself
2. How might one achieve this same contrast effect on digital. A lot of this looks handheld, so I'm assuming a good fucking lens, but holy hell, isn't some of this heavily post shopped a bit?

1 You can do it in all RAW processing programs. Many cameras also have the option buried somewhere in the menus (but then you have to put your name in using camera controls).
2 Dicking with curves, vibrance, and dehaze would get you mostly there, but he's picking scenes with high contrast anyway.

Re: 2. So many of this of this photographers other images seem to follow this same effect.
Its kind of like using HDR except dulling a bit of the saturation and pumping up the detail/structure slider.
Wouldn't say it's a specific filter they chuck everything through, but their whole portfolio seems to look as such.

So it is possible in digital, its not a specific amazing film like kodachrome or something.
Whelp, time to install capture-one I guess.
I still feel like Snapseed could still do the job, but I'm just not using those damn curves correctly. Any books on colour theory?

and by horrible don't get me wrong. the subjects and composure are spot on in many of the shots. really great narratives going on here. The problem is he used HDR to compensate for lack of a tripod and not using a lower slower shutter speed + shallow DoF to get more light on the sensor. HDR always looks like shit. he used it here to clean up the noise with lackluster effect

I don't like him at all, he's a genuine creep and should probably be in jail for what he did to that 10 year old boy, but I mostly post to stop his constant "4chan harassed me at work constantly until I lost my gf and job, I'm a victim!" revisionist history. The lamboticket thing happened and he was banned for samefagging it looked like. 3/4 of the posts in one thread disappeared all at once. It was kind of crazy to watch since his samefagging was so extensive, like having multiple reply chains from "anons" trying desperately to defend himself and obfuscate the issue with fake death threats against him and other thread deleting tactics.

Then he was caught with an Instagram account where he goes to schools and looks for 12-14 girls to "model" for him. He called it "predateur aesthetic". He quickly changed the profile to private and made a new bio in Spanish to try and deny it but anons had screenshots and archives where he proudly called it a chosis profile. He was banned after that, I remember he started the "the REAL Chosis never posted here" bullshit after that because obviously being caught stalking girls at local schools is very serious.

Then anons found his profile on reddit (via his lamboticket shilling there) and he had a number of posts talking about his pedophilia & urges to rape kids, with one talking about jerking off a 10 year old boy which spread fast on /p/ He quickly nuked the reddit profile of all posts but the damage was done. His trip has been permabanned since.

Yep, if the image isn't resized at all, the EXIF says Photoshop 2015 and that's it, there's meme borders, and the post-processing looks lazy af as if he's just headbutted "auto" on Photoshop RAW editor, that's him.
